How does Demohub make money?
Solo is free forever. Pro is $29.99/mo (or $24.99/mo billed annually) for unlimited stores.
We make money from a flat $5 booking fee paid by the brand on each confirmed demo, collected automatically by Stripe at booking. Retailers keep 100% of whatever demo fee they set. The $5 sits on top, paid by the brand.
When do I get paid for demos?
Once you've connected your bank in Settings, Bank & payouts (uses Stripe Express), brands are charged at booking and the demo fee is routed to your Stripe Express account.
Payouts run on your Stripe payout schedule and are visible in the Stripe Express dashboard.
Can I require a Certificate of Insurance (COI) from every brand?
Yes. You upload each brand's COI to your compliance dashboard. When a COI is nearing expiry, both you and the brand get automatic email reminders 30, 14, and 3 days out.
What if a brand cancels last minute?
Your cancellation policy is set in Settings, Booking preferences. Two modes:
14-day refund window (default): brands can cancel and receive a full refund up to 14 days before the booking. Inside 14 days, non-refundable.
Non-refundable: all bookings are final. No refunds for cancellations.
Brands see your chosen policy at the point of booking and agree to it before payment. Refunds are processed through Stripe per your stated policy.
How do I add my team?
Admin, Team, Invite. They get a magic-link email, no password required. Admins can manage everything; viewers can see the demo calendar but can't book or change settings.
Solo tier includes 2 admin users. Pro tier includes unlimited admins and viewers.
Can I sync demos to Google Calendar / Apple Calendar / Outlook?
Yes , Settings โ Calendar feed has a personal .ics URL you can subscribe to from any calendar app. New bookings appear automatically; cancellations remove themselves. One-time setup, no ongoing sync needed.
How do I book a demo at a retailer?
Visit the retailer's public booking page (the link they shared with you) and pick a date, store, and time slot. You'll enter your contact info and agree to the retailer's demo policy before submitting.
You pay the retailer's demo fee plus a $5 Demohub booking fee at booking through Stripe. Refunds follow whatever cancellation policy the retailer has set.
What does the verified brand badge mean?
Verification is applied by Demohub after we review the brand's uploaded Certificate of Insurance and confirm it's current. The badge disappears the moment the COI lapses.
How do I upload my Certificate of Insurance?
Brand portal, Profile, Insurance. PDF only, up to 10 MB. You'll enter the expiration date when you upload. Both you and any retailer with your COI on file get renewal reminders 30, 14, and 3 days before expiry.
